In November 2016, the Auburn community passed a $456,056,000 bond to replace six aging schools and build two new elementary schools. The bond replaced: Chinook Elementary, built in 1963 Dick Scobee Elementary, built in 1954 Lea Hill Elementary, built in 1965 Olympic Middle School, built in 1957 Pioneer Elementary, built in 1959 Terminal Park Elementary, built in 1945 The two new elementary schools will provide increased classroom space.
Thanks to the tremendous support of the community, the Auburn School District is was able to build eight amazing schools that will serve the community for generations.
